Darkest Day Films
Doris
Doris is the first feature film project from Darkest Day Films, based on our award-winning short film of the same name and the novel published by Darkest Day Publishing. Currently in pre-production, the feature expands the unsettling world of Doris into a full-length psychological horror story, blending atmosphere, character and dread into a haunting cinematic experience.

The Concept
A den of elderly cohorts 'invite' guests around for a game of Bingo, only their house rules are very different! A tale of friendhip, neighbourly love and murder (but mostly murder).
We are now developing Doris as a feature film, building on the story, tone and visual world first introduced in the original short film. As the project moves forward, this page will become the home for production updates, concept imagery, behind-the-scenes material and exclusive announcements.
From Short Film to Feature Film

Read the Novel
The world of Doris also lives on the page. Published by Darkest Day Publishing, the Doris novel expands the story beyond the screen and is available now from the Darkest Day Studios store.
